The Chinese Golden Buddha Pagoda is modeled after the Qianlong Golden Pagoda Inlaid with Precious Stones, one of the treasured artifacts of the Palace Museum. The Chinese Golden Buddha Pagoda adopts the form of the revered Vajra Pagoda from the eight Tibetan pagodas of the Buddha, crafted using royal techniques passed down for a thousand years. Tremendous manpower, finances, and resources have been invested in this project, meticulously crafted over a thousand days by dozens of experts including Master Wang Shuwen, a distinguished master of Chinese arts and crafts. The original pagoda was also once a reliquary for the Buddha's tooth relics. Only three pagodas exist: one made of pure copper gilded, one of pure silver gilded, and one of pure gold. Each is adorned with more than 3,000 large, precious gemstones of various kinds, making it a masterpiece of copper sculpture. The entire pagoda employs various techniques such as engraving, repoussé, and inlaying, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship with gemstones embellishing its details, further highlighting its nobility and splendor. It stands as the largest golden Buddha pagoda in the history of Buddhism. For more information, please visit: http://www.kycb.net
