Reprinted from Beijing Morning Post: Ms. Zhao found Lanci Beauty Salon, which admitted that the surgery failed. In response to the questioning of the family members about laser mole removal, the so-called "doctor from Peking Union Medical College Hospital" had to admit that he was a laid-off worker who came to Beijing for work and had no medical qualification at all. The family of Ms. Zhao then reported it to the police, and the "doctor" lied that he was going to the toilet and escaped through the door crack.

In March this year, Ms. Zhao went to Lanci Beauty Salon located on the 7th floor of Wantong Office Building for eyelash grafting. Several beauty consultants persuaded her to remove her eye bags. When she heard that this "Doctor Shi" had "worked at Peking Union Medical College Hospital", Ms. Zhao believed them. "After disinfection and anesthesia, the doctor cut off a piece of flesh under her eyelid with scissors. As a result, in the following months, the patient experienced symptoms such as redness and swelling of the eyes and conjunctivitis. The most terrible thing is that her originally almond-shaped eyes underwent obvious deformation." From the before-and-after comparison photos of the surgery, the reporter saw that Ms. Zhao's lower eyelids were everted, exposing large areas of sclera. After diagnosis by the Air Force General Hospital, Ms. Zhao was found to have conjunctivitis and would need to undergo several plastic surgeries in the future.

Yesterday, the industrial and commercial law enforcement officers searched out a large number of fillers used for nose jobs and other plastic surgeries from the beauty salon. The industrial and commercial personnel said that this beauty salon did not have the qualifications for medical aesthetics and absolutely could not inject needles or use knives on consumers; otherwise, it would be suspected of overstepping its business scope. Previously, Lanci Beauty Salon had been penalized by the industrial and commercial department due to "precedents". According to relevant regulations, unauthorized knife usage without proper certification can result in a maximum fine of 500,000 yuan, and the longest sealing period can last up to 30 days for investigation by the industrial and commercial department.

A beauty salon performed surgery without medical qualifications and caused an accident, leading to its closure. Industrial and commercial reminder: None of the 12 beauty salons within Wantong Office Building have medical aesthetic qualifications, and there have been more than 30 related complaints since the beginning of this year. Consumers should not blindly trust beauty consultants but first recognize the qualifications of the consumption venue and consume rationally.

A laid-off worker impersonated a beauty doctor and used scissors to remove eye bags, resulting in the consumer's lower eyelid eversion. Upon investigation, it was confirmed that the beauty salon did not have the qualification to perform surgery. Yesterday, Xicheng Industrial and Commercial Bureau sealed off Lanci Beauty Salon.
