InterAuto 2005 successfully attracted 400 internationally renowned enterprises from industries including automobiles, automotive components, professional car audio systems, etc., which were displayed in thematic sections. In addition to audiences from other cities in Russia, a significant portion came from neighboring countries such as Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and others. Currently, INTERAUTO has become the largest and most influential automotive industry exhibition in Russia and the CIS region, supported by the Global Exhibitions Alliance (UFI) and officially authorized by the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA).
**Market Introduction:**
The automotive components market in Russia is expected to grow steadily over the next few years. According to calculations by analysts at Russia's "Automobile Statistics" company, the average annual growth rate of the primary automotive components market will reach approximately 20% to 25%, with a total value reaching $14.8 billion by 2010. Currently, Russian manufacturers account for less than one-third (31.8%) of the primary components market. The majority of components in the Russian automotive parts market are imported, including assembly joints and combinations. Additionally, the substantial market for automotive care materials (automotive chemicals, car beauty products, paint coatings, etc.), safety systems, accessories, and other additional equipment is not included in the statistics. Considering all these factors, experts believe that the scale of the automotive components market can rival the automobile market, which currently has an annual sales total of $50 billion.
