In recent years, with the development trend of casualization and comfort of clothing, some types of clothing have emerged that make people feel casual and comfortable regardless of the season. For example, T-shirts and aprons that are popular in summer. The T-shirt is somewhat similar to a short-sleeved sports shirt, but its hem is loose instead of elastic, it's pull-over style, and its collar type is usually either a small turn-down collar with half-open buttons or no collar and no buttons at all. The color options for T-shirts are very wide-ranging; they can be bright solid colors, light stripes, printed on the front and back, etc., with rich colors and varied patterns. Men, especially in general public places and during leisure time, wearing a T-shirt can particularly show an unadorned yet graceful demeanor.

In the past, people always thought that T-shirts were clothes for young people, and middle-aged and elderly people dared not try them. In fact, wearing T-shirts is not restricted by age, meaning the age range for choosing T-shirts is quite broad. As long as you like, you can wear them at any age. Just because of different ages, body types may vary; middle-aged and elderly people generally have larger waists and bellies, so when purchasing, just choose according to your own body type. For example, if you're on the heavier side, you can choose a slightly larger size to cover up the flaws of "thick waist and protruding belly"; also, you can choose cool-colored, simple, or straight thick stripe-patterned ones, which can make you look slimmer. When wearing, place the T-shirt hem outside the pants, which can also cover the waist area. Conversely, slim people should buy more fitted T-shirts and tuck the hem into their pants, which can highlight a graceful figure. However, generally speaking, T-shirts should be bought a bit looser, especially in hot summers. If it's too small, it will give the feeling of being "tied" to the body, looking very uncomfortable, and it's also inconvenient to put on and take off.

Currently, the materials of T-shirts available on the market generally include 100% cotton, linen, polyester-linen, polyester-silk, etc. Fully cotton ones are comfortable to wear and can absorb sweat, but they cling to the body and aren't very aesthetically pleasing, and tend to wrinkle easily after washing. But if changed frequently, pairing them with non-cotton pants below is also acceptable. When purchasing, attention should be paid to buying slightly larger sizes to prevent shrinkage. Linen ones are a relatively high-end option, being both cool and attractive with a good texture, though they are more expensive. Polyester-linen ones look similar to linen ones, don't wrinkle easily after washing, and are moderately priced, making them a suitable choice. Polyester-silk ones appear very thin and shiny but have poorer breathability and also give a clinging sensation when worn. Additionally, there is a type of T-shirt made from a blend of cotton yarn and synthetic fibers, which is not only lightweight and doesn't wrinkle easily, but is also the most ideal kind.

Since T-shirts resemble convenient sport shirts, the pants and shoes paired with them should also be convenient for uniformity top to bottom. Generally speaking, T-shirts should be paired with tight-fitting long pants or relaxed water-washed cloth pants, and it's best to avoid wearing wool pants. Also, choose to wear lightweight loafers or athletic shoes to pair with them.
