Travel Wedding Photos in My Eyes: A Journey Filled with Uncertainty
A journey is often filled with unpredictable factors. If a photographer has sufficient travel experience and life experiences, it can be very helpful in dealing with unexpected events during the trip, as seen in wedding photography scenarios in places like Shenyang.
Beneficial Insights: Today, the editor from Zhongtuan will share a story and insights from a wedding photographer regarding travel wedding photos. Couples who choose to take travel wedding photos are often dissatisfied with the conventional, formulaic methods of traditional wedding photo shoots. They hope to obtain a set of wedding photos that reflect local characteristics, have a natural style, and capture many genuine moments while traveling. For me, the key focus of travel wedding photos lies in the journey itself, and the authentic moments captured in the photos stem from the travel experience. This is my favorite way to shoot.
Shooting this set of Nepal travel wedding photos was an incredible encounter for me. When we first arrived in Nepal, we "picked up" Ya Xian, a backpacker, who later became our "stylist." I played dual roles as both the newlywed and the photographer; some of the shots where I appear were taken using a tripod and wireless shutter. Another backpacker we met on the road, Xiao Wu, had never touched a DSLR camera but turned out to have a great talent for photography. After a half-hour "course" training session with me, he became our crucial second photographer. Throughout the process, we all thoroughly enjoyed our respective roles and created unforgettable memories together.
