Sham Marriage Sham Marriageā Introduction Margaret Tate (played by Sandra Bullock) is a Canadian who came to Boston, USA from Canada to pursue her dream. There were some issues with her immigration documents, but since the review process was relatively loose at that time, she managed to pass through. Years later, Margaret has become a senior executive of a book publishing company. Although she is still single, it's only her parents in Canada who are anxious about her marital status; Margaret herself has never really considered her personal life. In the company, Margaret is well-known for being strict. Almost every colleague has been called in for a lecture by Margaret, such as Andrew Paxton (played by Ryan Reynolds), a newly graduated university student who has recently become the frequent target of Margaret's criticism.
