According to a report by WYFF TV in South Carolina, USA on July 4, the probability of a person being struck by lightning is usually negligible. However, Melvin Roberts, a 58-year-old man from South Carolina, has been struck by lightning five times over the past few decades and survived every time.
What Melvin didn't expect was that on June 27, he was struck by lightning for the sixth time during a storm and once again miraculously survived! Even more coincidentally, after being struck by lightning five times before, he had subsequently divorced his five ex-wives. Melvin worries that this sixth lightning strike might lead him to the same "divorce misfortune" again! Known as "Lightning Man," Melvin's six encounters with lightning have broken what seemed like an "impossible probability." Melvin believes that all six lightning strikes may be some form of "punishment" from the universe.
