1) Water Container: The water container is a receptacle for holding washing liquid or clear water. It is made of plastic through injection molding, which has properties like acid and alkali resistance, impact resistance, and heat resistance, and it is fixed on a steel base. There is a round hole in the center at the bottom of the water container that cooperates with the large water seal on the clutch to prevent leaks. At the bottom of the container, there is a drainage port connected to the drainage valve, which controls the discharge of wastewater. On the bucket wall of the water container, a certain distance away from the bucket opening, there is an overflow outlet used to drain overflow water and soap bubbles during rinsing. On the side wall of the lower part of the water container, there is an air chamber with a guide gas nozzle. Through a guide gas hose, it connects to the water level switch, controlling the height of the water level in the water container.
2) Washing and Dehydration Drum: The washing and dehydration drum is also known as the centrifugal drum or inner drum. In fully automatic washing machines, washing and dehydration occur in the same drum, so this drum must meet both washing and dehydration requirements. There are multiple ridges and grooves on the inner wall of the dehydration drum, which play a kneading role similar to a washboard during washing. Another function of the ridges is to enhance the vortex of the washing liquid. Many small holes are drilled in the grooves of the washing and dehydration drum. During dehydration, water is thrown out through these small holes into the water container and then drained. Embedded on the inner wall of the washing and dehydration drum is a return pipe. The bottom of the return pipe aligns with the agitator. During washing, as the agitator rotates, the washing liquid is pumped out by the agitator, rises along the return pipe, and is discharged from the outlet at the top of the return pipe, re-entering the drum. This cycle repeats continuously, and the lint and thread shavings in the washing liquid are collected by the filter net bag. The top opening of the washing and dehydration drum is equipped with a balance ring, whose function is to reduce vibration caused by imbalance during dehydration.
3) Agitator: The agitator is installed inside the washing and dehydration drum and fixed on the agitator shaft of the clutch. The agitator is usually made of plastic through injection molding and requires a smooth surface, no burrs, and no deformation. The agitator is the main component that generates water flow. Its shape, height, size, installation position, speed, and operating mode, etc., play a crucial role in the cleaning ratio and wear rate of the washing machine.
