When I was a child, there were several sunflowers planted in the backyard of our house. At that time, it was the first time I had seen such a grand flower, and I was very excited. Later, I learned from my father that sunflowers could produce a lot of seeds, so I loved them even more. Back then, I could only look up at those large and bright flower heads, feeling like there were many little suns smiling at me. After the sunflowers bore fruit, they drooped their heads, but we harvested a lot of seeds. I can still remember the day when my sister and I held a big pile of seeds and asked our mother to roast them for us. There was also the scene of our family of four sitting together and eating sunflower seeds. At that time, I happily thought that those drooping sunflowers were like little suns smiling at me. I miss the days when our family was together. Now, we are all scattered, earning money or going to school. We only reunite briefly during holidays. There are no more flowers in the backyard of our home. The scenes of my childhood seem distant yet close in my mind. Alas~ I've grown up.
