Siemens Washing Machine Forced Water Intake Function Failure
Fault Phenomenon: The forced water intake function of the washing machine has failed.
Detection and Judgment: So-called forced water intake means that the water level in the outer tub has already reached the rated height, and the normally closed contact of the water level switch has already opened. However, through the connection of the program controller's contact, the water inlet valve is powered on and opens to supply water to the machine. This process is arranged during the standard water flow rinse, mainly for the purpose of using more water to dilute the detergent and dirt in the laundry, thereby improving the rinsing effect. After checking the relevant components of the two water inlet routes separately, it was found that the water inlet valve (EV) was damaged.
Repair Method: After replacing with the same model water inlet valve and powering on for testing, the fault was eliminated.
Experience Summary: The water intake of this washing machine is divided into two routes, controlled by different water inlet solenoid valves. Some other drum washing machines have four water inlet routes.
