Our news (reporter Yongjun Zhang) Yesterday, at a wedding in Liangdao Street, Wuchang District, the well-prepared groom released nearly a hundred butterflies that were air-freighted from Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, to cheer up the bride.

In the morning of yesterday, as the wedding ceremony ended, the groom opened a heart-shaped paper box in front of the bride and numerous guests. As he shook his hand, a group of colorful butterflies flew out of the box, flapping their wings and dancing gracefully. The butterflies rested on the pure white wedding dress, and Miss Zou, the bride, was so moved by this romantic scene that she almost shed tears.

Mr. Guojian Zhang, the groom, believed that butterflies symbolize eternal love that never separates. Half a month ago, he specially ordered this batch of butterflies from Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, at seven yuan each. The previous night, these butterflies were air-freighted to Wuhan Tianhe Airport from Yunnan, and he picked them up from the airport overnight. He said that butterflies have a short life span and are easily frightened, so it took some effort to make them behave during the wedding and create this romantic atmosphere. He mentioned that the previous evening, in order to feed these butterflies, he stayed up until 4 o'clock in the morning feeding them with honey water.
