McQuay Air Conditioning: How to commission a central air conditioning system that has been used for many years?
The Beijing McQuay Air Conditioning Maintenance Hotline provides analytical data.
After being used for many years, the resistance of equipment and ductwork network systems in centralized air conditioning systems will change, affecting the system's airflow and wind pressure, making it difficult to ensure the temperature requirements of indoor air environment. Therefore, air conditioning systems that have been used for many years should be regularly tested and adjusted to restore the original design requirements.
(1) Reasons for reduced airflow and wind pressure: After the equipment is running, dust and grease will stick to the volute and impeller of the ventilator. The ductwork network system also increases frictional resistance and local resistance due to dust sticking to the inner walls of the ducts and forming grease, causing a decrease in system airflow. Therefore, after a period of time, the fan blades, spiral casing, and ducts should be cleaned to remove accumulated dust in the fan and ducts.
(2) Situations where centralized air conditioning systems should be commissioned:
① Centralized air conditioning systems that have been in operation for a long time but cannot guarantee room temperature and airflow.
② Centralized air conditioning systems that have repeatedly experienced air conditioning failure accidents.
③ Centralized air conditioning systems that need to be tested and adjusted due to changes in production or testing equipment in some rooms.
