One of our favorite activities is the future, it may be in Tampa, Florida, but it's a keen eye out, if you are fortunate enough to live nearby, get yourself ready for the Gasparilla invasion on Saturday, January 29! The San Jose Gasparilla is the only fully equipped pirate ship, with all the necessary gear, that will solemnly appear next Saturday in Hillsborough Bay, where the plan is to meet a variety of combat vessels and then save the Gasparilla Pirate Ship of Tampa. In this annual pirate invasion, re-enacting Tampa's history, colors and pirate fancy dress are everywhere; it really is amazing and a great day. So, if you're in the Florida area this Saturday, get your pirate fancy dress costumes and head to the San Jose Gasparilla on Hillsborough Bay, Tampa. 'Me hearty,' enjoy a bluff of the day, pirates, invasion, and a lot of fun. It's a sensational sight, and in pirate fancy dress, you will also be part of the action.
