Our reporter Baiyun and correspondent Qi Mengyou report: At 9pm on July 15th, the murder suspect Sun, who was being pursued by the Qingdao police in Shandong, was captured in Pingshan County, Shijiazhuang. Sun confessed that he did not even know the victim - he was hired by a female online friend to commit the crime for a "reward" of 200,000 yuan. Subsequently, he recruited help online.
At 7am on July 10th, a murder case occurred on Datong Road in Qingdao city - two suspects stabbed Dong, the manager of a certain road and bridge company from Anhui Province in Qingdao, to death.
After investigation, the police confirmed on July 15th that one of the suspects, Sun, had fled to his father-in-law's home in Zhongguyue Village, Pingshan County. The officers rushed to the Public Security Bureau of Pingshan County, and the police from both areas captured Sun at 9pm on the 15th.
Sun confessed that a month ago, while working in Fuzhou, he met an online female friend named "Yijian Peihong" on the internet, and they became "close friends."
She told Sun, "I have an enemy, Dong, in Qingdao. If you disable him, I will give you 200,000 yuan after it's done." Sun went to Qingdao to meet her and planned how to carry out the crime.
Before the crime, feeling weak on his own, Sun promised a reward of 100,000 yuan and found an online friend named "Luo Zheng" to help.
At 7am on July 10th, when Dong was driving on Datong Road in Qingdao, Sun rode a motorcycle with "Luo Zheng" and collided with Dong's vehicle. When Dong got out of the car to check, the two of them abducted him, took him to a secluded place, and killed him. After committing the crime, the two went their separate ways.
However, as of the time of his arrest, Sun had not received a single penny.
Yesterday, Sun was handed over to the Qingdao police, and the case is still under further investigation.
