Five suspects have been placed under criminal detention by the police. The Guancheng Public Security Bureau provided the photos.

Zhao Yuan, 15 years old, was arrested by the police on the evening of February 2. She is suspected of committing armed robbery and murder. When she found out yesterday that the victim had died, she did not show any shock but instead laughed. Her explanation was very calm: she didn't want it to happen this way. But because of her impulsiveness and that of her young companions, an innocent woman fell. In the morning of yesterday, in the interrogation room of the Guancheng Public Security Bureau's Criminal Investigation Team, Zhao Yuan and her group seemed to still not realize how serious their crime was.

An elderly couple didn't get customers late at night but got a calamity

In the morning of yesterday, in the interrogation room of the Guancheng Public Security Bureau's Criminal Investigation Team, 15-year-old Zhao Yuan was swinging her legs on the chair. When she heard that the aunt they stabbed had died, she first looked stunned, then smiled indifferently: "Oh! We didn't mean to."

She said she missed home, missed her mother. She didn't know that a woman older than her mother had fallen forever under their impulsive knife.

Deputy Director Wu Weijie of the Guancheng Public Security Bureau introduced that at around 11 p.m. on January 31, in the "Wancun Qianxiang" supermarket in Shangzhuang Village, Guancheng District, the female owner, Wang Fulan, 59 years old, had already rested in the store. Before sleeping, she nagged her husband Wang Shouhua: it's cold, there isn't much business, don't stay up too late. Her husband looked at the desolate street outside the door and said he would sit for a while longer, one more customer is better. The elderly couple were happily discussing returning to their hometown for the New Year during dinner.

Not long after, Wang Shouhua's persistence attracted several teenagers. Wang Shouhua was very happy, preparing to finish this transaction and then go to sleep. He cheerfully led the youths to the shelves, enthusiastically introducing the goods to them.

Wang Shouhua recalled that after the children wandered around with raised eyes, asking about this and that, they called him to the shelf farthest inside. As soon as he went over, several people immediately blocked him in the middle, multiple knives were drawn from their clothes and pressed against him.

Wang Shouhua was terrified, shouting loudly and calling for help from his wife. Wang Fulan woke up startled and ran over screaming.

Wang Shouhua cried holding his head: he never expected that half-grown children could be so brutal, stabbing him wildly.

The cries for help from his wife also frightened the criminals. One male youth jumped and ran towards Wang Fulan, yelling at her to stop shouting, then viciously stabbed her in the chest. Blood gushed out, Wang Fulan collapsed unconscious on the spot. These people panicked, hastily grabbing a few hundred yuan and fled through the door.

Wang Shouhua had multiple injuries on his hands and legs, fortunately all were cuts and not fatal. Seeing the criminals escape, Wang Shouhua's first reaction was to save his wife. He hurriedly smashed the door of the small clinic across the street that was already closed, crying and dragging the doctor to come rescue. The doctor saw and shouted quickly to send her to the hospital. Wang Fulan died after ineffective rescue due to being stabbed in a vital area.

Real-name registration in hotels "contributed" to identifying the assailants

After the case occurred, the Municipal Public Security Bureau and the Guancheng police arrived at the scene in the first time, quickly forming a special investigation team to carry out the investigation work. Combining the outline features of the suspects, they conducted a blanket clearance around the central scene, gradually expanding outward.

Director Wang Xiaojun of the Guancheng Public Security Bureau introduced that in the blanket search by hundreds of police officers, detectives Jin Ming'an and Wu Yongfei discovered a major clue: 50 meters west of the crime scene on the south side of the road was a "Rujiabinguan". Upon detailed investigation of the hotel's recent conditions, they found that at 2 a.m. on January 30, three young men checked into the hotel. They prepaid two days' rent and deposit. However, by noon on February 1, well past the checkout time, the three men hadn't returned, even abandoning their deposit.

At this point, the real-name registration system for small hotels and bathhouses played a significant role. It turned out that both rooms were booked using one ID: the man's name was Liu Zhen, 18 years old, from Xin'an County, Luoyang City.

Wang Xiaojun immediately dispatched the criminal investigation team to conduct key verifications in Xin'an. The mystery gradually unraveled: On January 5 of this year, Liu Zhen resigned from the Luoyang Tractor Factory, and his whereabouts were unknown. Subsequent investigations by the police revealed that Liu Zhen appeared in the vicinity of the crime scene before and after the incident, accompanied by three men. Liu Zhen was subsequently listed as a key suspect by the police.

Using high-tech investigative techniques, the police uncovered two other key suspects. At around 16:00 on February 2, the Criminal Investigation Brigade and the "1・31" Robbery and Murder Special Investigation Team swiftly acted, arresting suspects Han Xing (male, 18 years old, from Xin'an County) and Ningning (male, 17 years old, from Xin'an County) near the gate of the Luoyang Tractor Factory.

At around 17:00 on the same day, according to their confessions, Wu Weijie led the detectives to arrest another suspect, Gao Long (male, 16 years old, from Xin'an County) at the back door of the Qihang Building on Hanghai Road in our city.

At around 18:00 on the same day, Deputy Director Wang Jun of the Guancheng Public Security Bureau led the police to arrest suspects Liu Zhen and Zhao Yuan (female, 15 years old, from Xin'an County) at the Luoyang Tractor Factory residential area.

Before the crime, they originally wanted to teach the female boss of Zhao Yuan a lesson

After investigation, evidence collection, and interrogation by the police, it was discovered that Zhao Yuan had previously worked at the "Chongqing Authentic Restaurant" on Zhengwei Road in our city.

In January of this year, Zhao Yuan had a minor conflict at work and quarreled with the female boss of the restaurant. The boss angrily fired her. Zhao Yuan had a good cry and complained bitterly to her boyfriend Gao Long. Gao Long worked as a security guard at a nightclub near the Future Road in our city and believed in brute force. Upon learning of this matter, he clenched his teeth in anger and said he would give the female boss a good beating. After discussing with each other, they called Han Xing and Ningning, planning to follow and rob the female boss, beat her up, and vent their anger.

On January 29, Han Xing and Ningning traveled from Xin'an County in Luoyang to Zhengzhou. After plotting, at around 11:00 that day, Han Xing and Ningning followed the female boss intending to rob her.

Unexpectedly, after closing the door, the female boss left with her husband. Seeing the male boss was quite large, they didn't dare to act. Subsequently, they tracked the female boss for a whole day but couldn't find an opportunity to act.

Failed seduction led to robbery of the supermarket and murder

Detective Wang introduced that on January 30, Han Xing thought Gao Long always worked night shifts, so there weren't enough hands. He then invited Liu Zhen from Luoyang to Zhengzhou to prepare for "one big job." Liu Zhen subsequently bought spring-loaded knives in Luoyang and rushed to meet in Shangzhuang Village in Zhengzhou.

The five people first discussed letting Zhao Yuan seduce lecherous men on the streets, luring them to secluded places where they would then proceed to rob them.

At around 22:00 on January 31, according to the original plan, Zhao Yuan rushed to the road east of the Rujia Hotel on Zhengwei Road. Han Xing and others were lying in wait in the dark corners nearby.

At around 22:30, the petite Zhao Yuan wandered on the street for half an hour without enticing anyone.

Han Xing and others were freezing cold. He later confessed that he went to the "Wancun Qianxiang" supermarket on the east side of the road to buy a pack of cigarettes and noticed that only an old man was guarding the store. The old man was exactly Wang Shouhua, 60 years old.

Han Xing said that Zhao Yuan was his ex-girlfriend who later followed Gao Long. Seeing her stamping her feet in the cold on the street, he felt sorry for her and suggested robbing the supermarket instead. This then led to the tragedy described earlier.

Liu Zhen, Han Xing, and Ningning took a train back to Luoyang at around 12:00 the next day. Zhao Yuan subsequently fled to Liu Zhen's residence.

They were not very shocked after killing someone and occasionally laughed

Ningning, 17 years old, was just released from a juvenile reformatory a month ago for robbery. These suspects, like Zhao Yuan, were not very shocked even when they heard about the death of the victim. Occasionally, they would laugh during conversations.

"Don't talk to me about feelings, love, or sympathy. My mom abandoned me when I was two years old, and I think very few people care about me," Ningning reacted indifferently upon hearing about Wang Fulan's death. His explanation was the same as Zhao Yuan's: we didn't want it to happen this way.

He said that his parents divorced when he was two years old, and he grew up with his father. His father had a bad temper, drank heavily, and often beat him. He said he never experienced what family affection was. Ningning said that after being released from the juvenile reformatory, he met Han Xing in his hometown of Xin'an. Han Xing brought him to his own home and introduced him to Han's mother. He said that Han's mother treated him as well as she treated Han Xing, and only at the age of 17 did he vaguely understand what maternal love and family felt like.

"Han Xing is my real brother! Whatever he tells me to do, I do," Ningning would occasionally become emotional only when mentioning Han Xing or Han's mother.

Currently, the five criminal suspects have been criminally detained by the Guancheng police, and the case is still under further review.
