A 55-year-old man surnamed Jin from Heilongjiang province, who lives in Yanji, remarried again, but the process was somewhat complicated: he first forged his ex-wife's ID card, then found a woman to impersonate his ex-wife, and subsequently registered for marriage. If he really wanted to reunite with his ex-wife, there was no need to make it so complicated, right? It turns out that Jin's purpose for obtaining the marriage certificate was to defraud others. On October 20, Jin, suspected of contract fraud, was approved for arrest by the Yanji Municipal People's Procuratorate.

In 2006, after his divorce, Jin had been living in Yanji city without much means. "How could I make more money without having to put in too much effort?" He remembered that after the divorce, his ex-wife still had a house under her name. Jin came up with a way to scam money. He first found a woman named Xiaoli (a pseudonym), lied that he had an important matter to take care of, and then got someone to use Xiaoli's photo to create a fake ID card, using his ex-wife’s name.

Not long after, Jin brought Xiaoli to the marriage registration office. Soon, the two of them completed the "marriage procedures." Subsequently, Jin took the marriage certificate, ID card, and other documents, and under his ex-wife's name, mortgaged the house and borrowed 52,800 yuan.

In 2007, when the Yanji City People's Court was hearing this case of private lending disputes, they discovered that Jin was suspected of contract fraud. On December 28 of the same year, Jin's case was transferred to the Yanji Public Security Bureau's Economic Investigation Brigade. Following this, the Yanji police began their pursuit of the fugitive Jin. On September 14 of this year, Jin was captured.

On October 20, Jin, suspected of contract fraud with the intent of illegal possession, was approved for arrest by the Yanji Municipal People's Procuratorate.
