Ms. Zhang, a citizen, called our hotline at 80889088 and said, "At around 9 o'clock yesterday evening (August 16), there were many passengers on the No. 36 bus I was taking, and it was quite crowded. Because I was with my child and it wasn't convenient for me to move to the back of the bus as required by the driver, the driver started cursing at me, using very offensive language, and even hit me with a mineral water bottle, fortunately without hitting me." Ms. Zhang told the reporter, "At around 9:30 PM on the 16th, I got on the No. 36 bus at Taishan Road. At that time, there were a lot of people on the bus, and I stood near the front door with my child. When the bus arrived at Weihai Road, more people got on, and the carriage became even more crowded. Because I was with my child, I did not move to the back of the carriage as required by the driver, but stood next to the driver's seat. At that point, the driver began cursing at me, using very foul language. I was very angry and started arguing back, leading to a fierce quarrel between us. Later, the driver even threw a mineral water bottle at me. Fortunately, the passengers behind me pulled me back a bit, so he didn't hit me."
Ms. Zhang told the reporter, "The driver had a bad attitude and even stopped the bus to argue with me. After two or three minutes, because it was late and there were many passengers on the bus, everyone advised me, so I stopped arguing back and got off the bus after reaching my stop."
Ms. Zhang said, "Later, I went to the No. 36 bus team located near Jilin Mountain Park to report this matter and wanted the staff to give me a clear answer. The secretary of the No. 36 bus team received me with a good attitude. After apologizing to me in person, the secretary said they would contact the driver who drove that night to apologize to me. However, because the secretary of the No. 36 bus team had a very good attitude, I thought the matter had been well resolved. It's not easy for anyone to work in such hot weather. If we can all communicate nicely and show mutual understanding, everything will be fine."
Subsequently, the reporter called the No. 36 bus team, and a responsible person informed the reporter that the matter had been well communicated with the passenger, and both parties had exchanged contact information, indicating that they would definitely pay attention in the future.
