The lens of a Norwegian photographer successfully captured the aurora landscape over a lake. Beautiful auroras appeared in the night sky of Northern Europe.

According to a report by British media on September 9, fierce explosions on the surface of the sun recently created spectacular auroras in the sky over Northern Europe.

In the photos, the night sky displays dreamlike shades of purple and green, resembling a fairyland.

The creator of this visual feast is the sun, located hundreds of millions of kilometers away. Earlier this week, NASA detected a strong "solar storm" activity.

During this process, the sun continuously releases energy into the universe. When charged particles stream towards Earth and enter the range of the Earth's magnetic field, they collide with oxygen atoms and nitrogen molecules in the air, producing beautiful auroras in the polar regions. The green auroras are the result of oxygen atoms interacting with charged particles, while the rare purple color is produced by the collision of nitrogen molecules with charged particles.
