Our news (reported by Ji Hongbi, communicated by Ju Yuguo, Yuan Ye Ma Mingming): On August 18th, the National Narcotics Control Committee Office sent a congratulatory telegram to celebrate the successful resolution of the Public Security Ministry's supervised drug case target by the Yanbian Detachment of Jilin Province's Armed Police Border Defense Corps.

On July 26th, the Yanbian Public Security Border Defense Detachment and the Yanbian Prefecture Public Security Bureau took joint action and captured the female behind-the-scenes drug lord known as "Sister Jin" in Qingdao. With this, the major drug trafficking case was successfully solved.

The deputy captain of the investigation team disguised himself as a social thug.

In early May, the Yanbian Border Defense Corps Investigation Team obtained information during work that a man nicknamed "Big Fruit" frequently traveled between Qingdao, Jilin, and Yanbian regions to sell methamphetamine, and behind him was a large-scale drug smuggling and trafficking group. For this reason, after consulting with the Yanbian Prefecture Public Security Bureau, the Yanbian Border Defense Corps jointly established a special task force code-named "Fox Hunt."

Soon, investigators received a clue: "Big Fruit" would come from Jilin to Yanbian for a drug transaction. The investigation team split into two groups to track him at all times. However, this time "Big Fruit" did not drive himself but stayed one night in Yanji before leaving.

The 44-year-old "Big Fruit" had always been unemployed and interacted with many idle members of society. This time he just came to probe the "situation" in Yanbian and wanted to "develop" there.

Task force members discovered that "Big Fruit" enjoyed making connections, so Deputy Captain Jin Yong of the investigation team pretended to be a thug named "Mao Mao," contacting "Big Fruit" through friends. At the same time, claiming his hometown was in Yanbian, where he had many friends, he invited "Big Fruit" to visit.

Upon learning that his "goods" had a market in the Yanbian area, "Big Fruit" was very pleased. In less than half a month, "Mao Mao" gained "Big Fruit's" trust, meeting "drug friends" multiple times and visiting Yanji several times, returning each time satisfied.

However, "Big Fruit" was very cautious, never touching drugs himself and never carrying drugs when going out.

Finally, while drinking one day, the drunk "Big Fruit" told "Mao Mao" that there would soon be a shipment to pick up in Jilin and that he would take him along to broaden his horizons.

At 7 o'clock on the morning of July 26th, "Big Fruit" called "Mao Mao" telling him they would take the 8 o'clock bus to Jilin. The special task force immediately organized personnel to set an ambush in Jilin.

Subsequently, inside "Big Fruit's" home, the investigators worked together to capture him, confiscating 409.2 grams of methamphetamine on the spot.

Catching the "invisible person" in the internet cafe

During the interrogation, "Big Fruit" refused to confess, but a text message caught the attention of the investigators: "Brother Guo, let's gather tonight; you can bring the goods directly."

Are the "goods" methamphetamine? How much will he bring? The investigators were hesitating when Deputy Captain Jin Yong arrived: "I'll continue playing 'Mao Mao.' After meeting, I'll say 'Big Fruit' has many engagements, drank too much last night, and I'll act accordingly."

Through phone conversations, Jin Yong learned that the sender was Zhao and Li, who had eaten together before. They had no suspicions and agreed to meet at the hotpot restaurant.

After a hearty meal, the three agreed to go to "Big Fruit's" house to pick up the goods. Investigators Jin Minghao and Cui Yonghu captured them both, confiscating 3.6 grams of methamphetamine from Zhao.

They confessed that they were "Big Fruit's" subordinates and had a group of brothers in Qingdao. Their leader, "Brother Bao," was close to "Big Fruit." A few days ago, he came to get the goods, wanting to "open up the market" in Qingdao.

The special task force immediately rushed to Qingdao. With the cooperation of the Qingdao police, the special task force located "Brother Bao's" residence, but he hadn't returned recently, and his relatives hadn't seen him for a long time.

At this moment, news came from Jilin that besides associating with drug users, "Brother Bao" was also addicted to online games and often frequented internet cafes.

The special task force immediately dispatched people to conduct a thorough search of Qingdao's internet cafes. "Brother Bao," who was doing game tasks, never expected that the special task force would find him in the internet cafe. The investigators confiscated 24 grams of methamphetamine from him on the spot. Exhausted for three consecutive days without rest, "Brother Bao's" first words after being captured were: "I'll confess everything, but could you please buy me some food first?"

Tracking identified the mastermind female drug lord

The capture of "Brother Bao" unveiled the mysterious veil of the mastermind drug lord "Sister Jin."

In May this year, "Sister Jin" smuggled 1820 grams of methamphetamine into the country from abroad. To quickly sell it off, on July 20th, "Sister Jin" brought 700 grams of methamphetamine to Jilin City and handed over 400 grams to "Big Fruit" for sale. On the 21st, she carried 300 grams of methamphetamine to Qingdao and gave 140 grams to "Brother Bao" for him to sell.

It is understood that in 2007, "Sister Jin" illegally entered China, working as a nanny and cooking for factories in Jilin, Shandong, and other places. In 2009, she went to Dandong and followed her cousin in the cosmetics business. During this period, she learned that smuggling drugs was profitable and began smuggling drugs from abroad into China for sale.

"Sister Jin" lived simply, acted low-key, and was very mysterious. She didn't have a mobile phone and her whereabouts were uncertain, presenting great difficulties for the arrest operation.

The investigators noticed that due to illegal entry into China, "Sister Jin" did not have an ID card. "Brother Bao" said she used to be with someone named Jin Zhe, using Jin Zhe's ID card when working, registering under the guise of a married couple.

Jin Zhe! The special task force quickly queried labor markets, and Jin Zhe's name appeared in the domestic service industry. After individual investigations, the 45-year-old Jin Zhe quickly came under the special task force's radar. Through surveillance of his residence, it was found that only he lived there.

Thus, the special task force conducted 24-hour surveillance on Jin Zhe. Once when Jin Zhe went to the market to buy groceries, an old woman called out "Sister Jin," and tracking personnel Wu Linhu and Dong Zan noticed that the old woman spoke a few words to a woman before leaving.

Later, after talking with the old woman, the special task force learned that she had previously hired this "Sister Jin" as a nanny. The elderly woman mysteriously added that "Sister Jin" had secretly run away to China, fearing capture, so she made herself look ugly when going out. She wasn't hired through a labor center.

On July 26th, "Sister Jin" finally appeared in Jin Zhe's rented apartment, and both were captured on the spot. The police seized 160 grams of methamphetamine in the rented apartment and another 900 grams at "Sister Jin's" temporary residence in Shulan City.

With this, the "May 20th" major drug trafficking case was fully resolved. Six suspects were arrested in Jilin and Shandong provinces, seizing 1472.8 grams of methamphetamine, 132,000 yuan in drug money, and two cars.
