**LG Air Conditioner - Loose Drain Pipe Wrapping Causes Condensation Water**

**Problem Description:** After running for half an hour, the external drain pipe on the indoor side is covered with condensation water, causing leaks.

**Cause Analysis:** The user's newly installed air conditioner KF-23GW/I1Y has a leaking indoor unit. Upon inspection during operation, it was found that after about half an hour of operation, the surface of the approximately 2M long external drain pipe on the indoor side was covered with water droplets. This office building is near the riverbank, where the environmental humidity is very high, and the room is obviously too large with poor sealing. This results in a large amount of condensate being discharged from the inside of the air conditioner. Due to the external drain pipe only being loosely wrapped with a thin layer of binding tape, the air condenses on the outer wall of the external drain pipe, producing a lot of condensation droplets.

**Repair Measures:** Add thermal insulation sponge to the outer wall of the external drain pipe and re-wrap it.

**Experience Summary:** In southern regions with high humidity, the wrapping of thermal insulation sponge must be thorough.
