On August 11th, An Tongmao's home in Dongsan Village, Xunzhai Town, Xinhe County, Xingtai, was especially festive and lively, with a festival-like atmosphere everywhere. Today is An Tongmao's 100th birthday, and the villagers in the village spontaneously organized themselves, hung red lanterns, posted longevity characters, and danced happily. More than 100 family members of An Tongmao and more than 300 villagers jointly celebrated the old man's birthday.
An Tongmao, born in 1909, was engaged in business in his early years and then worked as a farmer for a long time. The old man was energetic and physically fit. He has six children, the eldest son is already 84 years old, all of whom are still alive and healthy. An Tongmao now has five generations under one roof.
Living a regular life, enjoying activities, doing his own things. An Tongmao’s daily life is very regular, three meals a day are on time and in fixed quantities. Every day he eats home-cooked meals, never picky eaters, nor snacks. Drink one or two ounces of white wine at 10 o'clock in the morning every day, drink eight small cups of tea water starting at 4 o'clock in the afternoon, which is an old man's hobby that has been fixed for many years. Things that the old man can do himself will absolutely not be handed over to others, he doesn't like others to take charge of his daily life. Morning exercise and afternoon walking have been adhered to for many years. Whenever there is leisure time, he will rub his feet by himself to promote blood circulation.

An Tongmao's character is gentle, indifferent to fame and wealth, able to live in harmony with neighbors and villagers, never quarreled about anything, never put any unpleasantness in mind, willing to help those in need. The old man insists on reading books and newspapers every day, understanding national affairs, browsing through beautiful articles, to temper his temperament and cultivate his sentiment. The old man is very satisfied with life.
Filial grandchildren, harmonious relationship, the old man treats his children equally. The old man has six children, only the eldest son, second daughter-in-law, and third daughter are in their hometown, the rest work elsewhere and don't often come home.
