Shunde - Yesterday, for the 7-year-old boy Ajun (a pseudonym) who lives in Xinhua Village of Junan Town in Shunde District of Foshan City, it was a perilous day. At around 5:30 PM that evening, Ajun was hit by his aunt's motorcycle and suffered a fracture after school. His grandfather on his mother’s side, seeing his grand-nephew unconscious, drove the injured child for 2 kilometers on the motorcycle and then abandoned Ajun under the Junan Bridge.
After the incident, Ajun's family reported the case to the police, and the traffic accident suspects were arrested. Based on their confessions, the police managed to rescue Ajun from the grass at the bridge, where he was extremely weak. Currently, the police are conducting further investigations into this matter.
According to the attending doctor, Ajun was sent to the hospital in the early hours of yesterday morning. The patient had a tibia and fibula fracture in his calf, and the swelling has yet to subside. The doctors have already applied a plaster cast for realignment, and in the next few days, he will need surgery. After the surgery, there should be no lingering aftereffects.

5:30 PM - Transfer of the Injured:
The Shunde police explained that at the time, first-grade student Ajun was heading home after school when suddenly, he was hit by a woman driving a motorcycle near the garbage pool of the fourth residential group in Xinhua Village of Junan Town, resulting in a fracture. The perpetrator immediately called her husband Ahua (a pseudonym) to take the injured to the hospital. According to Ahua, as he thought more about it, he became increasingly afraid, so he left the injured person near a mall opposite Junan Bridge.
7:00 PM - Unsuccessful Search:
As the temperature dropped to 6℃, Ms. Ouyang, Ajun's mother, could not find her son and thus reported the case to the police. More than 40 officers, relatives, and teachers braved the rain to search but found nothing.
Villagers who witnessed the car accident assumed that Ahua had already taken Ajun to the hospital until they saw Ajun's family searching everywhere and realized something was amiss. Witnesses asked Ajun's grandfather, Uncle Ou: "Did Ahua hide your child somewhere?"
10:00 PM - Suspect Arrested:
At around 8:30 PM, Uncle Ou arrived at his younger brother Ahua's house, where Ahua was calmly watching TV after dinner. When Uncle Ou asked about Ajun's whereabouts, Ahua still claimed he didn't know. At 9 PM, the police reviewed all the security videos from Xinhua Village and discovered the footage of the accident. By 10 PM, the police arrested Ahua and his wife at their home.
10:30 PM - Child Rescued:
Faced with villagers' accusations and surveillance video, Ahua admitted to leaving Ajun under Junan Bridge. At 10:30 PM, an ambulance arrived at Junan Bridge. With the help of dim lighting, Ajun's family found the shivering child in a patch of grass under the bridge. After nearly 5 hours of suffering in the rainy night, the injured Ajun finally met his mother.
