International Online Special Report: When most 2-year-olds are still clinging to their parents for cuddles, British prodigy Oscar Reigle, at just 2 years old, already has an encyclopedic knowledge of Roman history. With an IQ exceeding 160, Oscar rivals Einstein's intelligence. At the age of 2 years, 5 months, and 11 days, Oscar was accepted as a member of Mensa International, the global high-IQ society.

Oscar's father, Joe, revealed that Oscar started choosing his own clothes at 4 months, began speaking at 9 months, and could recite the alphabet by 18 months. By the time he was 2, he had already mastered thousands of words, while most children of the same age can only manage about 50 words.

Oscar's curiosity is insatiable, and at just 2 years old, he has demonstrated exceptional musical talent. For Christmas, he asked his parents for a saxophone. Recently, Oscar has become captivated by classical music. While sitting in the backseat of the car immersed in the music, he would tap along to the rhythm and inform his parents which instruments were playing in the piece.

Due to Oscar's extraordinary gifts, he has recently been accepted as a member of Mensa International, the global high-IQ society. Joe said, "Experts have determined that my son's IQ is at least 160 or higher, comparable to Einstein and Hawking. Since he started talking, Oscar has never stopped asking questions. All parents think their child is special, but Oscar truly is 'extraordinary.'"

Assessors from the Solihull Gifted Children Information Center in England revealed that Oscar is currently the smartest child they have encountered. The exact measure of his IQ remains undetermined. Experts say it will take several more years of testing to ascertain the precise number.

A spokesperson for Mensa International pointed out that so far, Oscar is the youngest member within the organization. It is known that only individuals with an IQ of 148 or above are eligible to join. In 1995, Ben Wood, then 2 years and 10 months old, became a member of Mensa International. Earlier this year, Elise Tan-Roberts, a girl from North London who was 2 years, 5 months, and 14 days old, also became a junior member of the organization, with an IQ of 158.

It is reported that Oscar's parents have average IQs, but his uncle Jonathan is also a prodigy. In 1995, Jonathan enrolled in university at the age of 13 to study computer science. (By Li Jie)
