I have been working at Qingdao Fuwai Hospital for more than four years, and I have changed a lot during this time. In the past, I was a student who only had a weak grasp of theoretical knowledge and was at a loss when entering the department, not knowing where to start. Now, I can apply theory to practice every day in an organized manner as a laboratory technician issuing one or two hundred test reports daily. Before, I was mentally lost and did not know how to navigate my future path, but now I am confident, optimistic, with beautiful dreams, clear goals in my work, and hope for life... All these changes have happened under the great circumstances of Qingdao Port and Fuwai Hospital, guided by Chairman Chang and Director Yang.

So today, I want to say deeply: Qingdao Fuwai Hospital - you are the place where dreams are born and realized.

1. Qingdao Port, I am proud of you; Qingdao Fuwai Hospital, I am proud of you!

In today's era, when people talk about state-owned enterprises, negative words like "losses, corruption, burden, layoffs" often come to mind. When discussing enterprise hospitals, phrases like "closed down, merged, unable to pay salaries" often arise. Under the same blue sky and social system, why has Qingdao Port developed so well and vibrantly? Why has our Qingdao Fuwai Hospital flourished so much with limitless growth prospects?

Not only are we seeking answers, but the central government and local governments are also searching for them. In 2009, the central government sent various media units to Qingdao Port six times within one year for interviews. From December 11th to 15th, under the personal instruction of central leadership and arranged by the Publicity Department of the Central Committee, the first "Central Media Qingdao Port Experience Reporting Team" named after an enterprise came to Qingdao Port. The journalists dug deep into the news behind the news, making us realize once again that it is because we have leaders like Chairman Chang and hospital directors like Director Yang. Therefore, Qingdao Port's development has been rapid, and Qingdao Fuwai Hospital has spread its wings to soar higher and stronger.

Before, I looked up to Chairman Chang with respect and admiration. I remember when I first arrived at the port, Chairman Chang held a discussion with us. Like a fan, I asked him to sign his name for me, which made everyone laugh. As I worked longer, my admiration for the chairman grew, while my awe diminished. This is because he always encouraged us in celebratory moments and motivated us in difficult ones. Every time I see him, he is so kind, like an elder brother. He always thinks of us. "Dedication to the country, serving society, benefiting employees." His heart contains not only small love— if loving his own employees is considered small love—but also universal love, loving all the people of the nation!

The changes in our hospital over the past two years are nothing short of earth-shattering. From an unknown port hospital, we have grown into the renowned Qingdao Fuwai Cardiovascular Hospital today. Director Yang has put in countless efforts and established the development strategy of "major specialties, minor general practices." A few days ago, while chatting idly with colleagues, we compared our hospital with Qingdao Medical University Hospital and the Municipal Hospital. Just this topic alone should illustrate some issues. In the past, we would never compare ourselves with their famous tertiary Class-A hospitals, but rather with the Fourth Airport Hospital or other enterprise hospitals of similar caliber. At the time, when comparing with colleagues, I felt that our hospital still had some gaps with Qingdao Medical University Hospital and the Municipal Hospital in terms of patient volume and public recognition. However, one comment from a colleague left a deep impression on me. She said, "With the current development momentum, within ten years, our hospital will definitely become the dominant force in Qingdao." These words shocked me greatly, and we further discussed how our director's ambition goes beyond this. She is aiming for the Jiaodong Peninsula, even the whole nation. Working under such a director makes our work invigorating and exciting.

Frequently, I see reports on Qingdao Port and Qingdao Fuwai Hospital on TV and in newspapers, and I always feel very proud. On January 9th, 20XX, in the *Peninsula Metropolitan Daily*, our hospital introduced experts from Beijing Fuwai Hospital for cooperation, significantly improving the medical level for Qingdao citizens, becoming a turning point in their lives. I carefully read that article, letting pride and self-esteem fill my chest.

2. Recognize your responsibilities, improve yourself, and become a qualified employee of Qingdao Port and an excellent member of Qingdao Fuwai.

In the past, I thought that as a regular employee, as long as I worked diligently, studied earnestly, and followed the company's instructions, that would be enough. However, through the education provided by Qingdao Port over the years, I realized that being a qualified employee of Qingdao Port requires far more than just doing these things. Qingdao Port, as a state-owned enterprise, is the best Qingdao Port, and as employees of Qingdao Port, each of us must strive to be the best version of ourselves because the excellence of Qingdao Port is created and demonstrated by each of us. Recently, taking advantage of the learning opportunities brought by the in-depth investigation and extensive reporting by central media, my spirit has been baptized once again. Below, I will share some thoughts on how to become a qualified employee of Qingdao Port and an excellent member of Qingdao Fuwai.

First, continuously study the Party's policies and actively participate in various ideological education activities organized by Qingdao Port, especially speeches by Chairman Chang at various meetings. In the past, I once passively thought that studying these things was useless and merely formalities. Looking back now, this idea was so foolish. The ideological education activities organized by the group and the hospital actually help us discard some decadent motives and corrupt ideas prevalent in society. They purify our hearts and elevate our ideological realms. Not only do they keep us spiritually joyful, but they also maintain high enthusiasm in our work. Honestly speaking, many employees in other units would consider this a special welfare benefit that they wish they could enjoy.

Second, fully utilize your time, seize every opportunity, and persistently engage in multi-faceted learning. Not only should you learn professional knowledge, but you should also study various aspects of medical knowledge. Nowadays, medical knowledge updates rapidly, and our hospital grows swiftly. If you don't keep up with the pace of learning, you won't just fall behind; you won't even be able to perform your job normally. However, human nature tends towards ease and superficiality, avoiding monotonous and strict things. Climbing the ladder in the medical field is indeed challenging. In this regard, the experts from Beijing Fuwai gave me a good lesson. When I saw them proudly claim the title of "medical maniacs," I was deeply moved inside. Laboratory work is not just receiving samples and issuing test reports; you must also clearly understand whether the report aligns with the patient's condition, guiding doctors' diagnoses and treatments. You need to ensure that instruments remain in good operating condition and stay informed about clinical dynamics. Additionally, to better serve clinical needs, you must summarize and analyze data related to common and high-incidence diseases, requiring strong medical theoretical knowledge. In the laboratory, I deeply feel the importance of testing work, so I must persistently continue learning. I use my spare time to familiarize myself with various testing methods, compare advantages and disadvantages, and use summaries and quality control reports to have a clear understanding of my work process. I have entered my work role. Initially, I struggled to keep up with everyone's work pace, hesitated, feared, and even retreated. It was the Qingdao Port spirit that encouraged me to keep learning. During work hours, I learned from colleagues and superiors, and after work, I learned from books and the internet. Learning gave me confidence, efficiency, and greatly motivated me to throw myself wholeheartedly into my duties.

Finally, here is a poem I wrote to conclude:

If I were a drop of water, I would willingly rest in Qingdao's harbor.

If I were a tree, I would grow in Fuwai's backyard.

As water, it should reflect sunlight and nourish the heart.

As a tree, it should flourish and stand tall between heaven and earth.
