SnapDragon is currently Qualcomm's main mobile phone chipset. The newly introduced SnapDragon Game Pack service consolidates all applications and games specifically designed for the SnapDragon chip and Adreno display chip. The former Vice President of Yahoo Search has been appointed as the Co-CEO of Shanda Online. With full support from Qualcomm, software developers will provide games with more refined graphics and richer functions.

Recently, Qualcomm announced the launch of the SnapDragon Game Pack service, which will essentially be Qualcomm's own app store where users can download applications and games developed specifically for Qualcomm chips.

The products in the app store are not limited to mobile phones, including VGA screen business powerhouses like the Nokia E6-00 and also tablets, etc. According to Qualcomm, so far, more than 125 devices have used SnapDragon chips, and 250 devices are under development. Currently, about 100 game developers have partnered with Qualcomm, including major mobile game companies such as Glu, GameLoft, Namco, and Polarbit.

Recently, Nvidia also launched the Tegra Zone app store for its own Tegra processor, intensifying competition between Qualcomm and Nvidia. As competition among manufacturers heats up, the produced applications may become increasingly incompatible, and the application fragmentation of the Android system could become more pronounced.
