Christian Louboutin has to be "isolated from everything" when he designs his shoes. He said: "I have to be alone to design, I’m quite spoilt. I can’t do it in cities: I have to be isolated from everything. I need to be in an environment I’m familiar with so that I’m not looking around and getting distracted."
He said: "I dream about shoes. They often look silly in reality, but it happens all the time - I see them while I’m asleep and I wake up, just desperate to recreate them."
