KONAMI has announced that the PS3 data material hardware, **METAL GEAR SOLID 4 DATABASE**, will be available for free download starting on June 19th via the PLAYSTATION Store. This data software can be downloaded and viewed by users who do not own *Metal Gear Solid 4*.
The **METAL GEAR SOLID 4 DATABASE** contains a wealth of information about characters, weapons, and settings from the seven titles in the *MG Saga*. It also features three search functions: a terminology dictionary, detailed character illustrations, and a timeline.
