WOW goblins

Goblins buy aion items and aion gold in World of Warcraft, especially in the Cataclysm expansion, and they might have the most creative and entertaining starting experience of any race so far. My impression may be slightly biased by my love for World of Warcraft's goblins -- instead of being portrayed as a stupid, lesser race as in most fantasy fiction, Azeroth's goblins represent a wily, conniving, mercantile society that is open about their greedy nature. Besides their love for the almighty gold piece, I also appreciate the goblins' inventive nature, particularly their more volatile approach to engineering: their technology represents the explosive yin to the gnomes' unpredictable yang. They're a small race, not as physically intimidating as other members of their faction, but their mastery of economy and technological know-how will make them a strong addition to the Horde’s ranks. Azeroth's goblins have traditionally been neutral by nature -- whether Horde or Alliance, they'll work with anyone as long as there's coin to be earned. The playable goblins introduced in the Cataclysm are part of the Bilgewater Cartel, hailing from the Isle of Kezan. These playable goblins have slightly different character models from the goblins you’re used to: they look somewhat more physically capable, though they still bear the exaggerated features and comical look of their neutral brethren.

### Goblin Racial Abilities: Gizmos and Gold

Currently, goblins have many racial abilities and bonuses, so it's only a matter of time before some of their cooler attributes are taken away. Still, what's currently available fits nicely with their distinctive flavor. Some of their racials are related to their economic background, while others are advantages due to the technological power of their "Goblin All-in-1-der-Belt":

- **Time is Money**: 1% increase in attack and casting speed.

- **Pack Hobgoblin**: Call a bank servant for 1 minute (30-minute cooldown).

- **Best Deals Anywhere**: Always get the best trade discount regardless of faction.

- **Better Living Through Chemistry**: Alchemy skill increased by 15.

- **Rocket Barrage**: Launch multiple rockets dealing fire damage (2-minute cooldown, 30-yard range).

- **Rocket Jump**: Jump forward instantly on a 2-minute cooldown.

It’s a nice list of abilities, but I think they’ll end up losing "Better Living Through Chemistry," as I never really saw the goblins as the alchemists of the game world. An engineering bonus would fit better. I absolutely love Pack Hobgoblin. Bringing a goblin to your raid will allow you to have all the consumables you’d ever need accessible at a moment’s notice, and the ability to stash your loot while leveling without having to make a trip back to town would be a great boon to those leveling a new character. The rocket-based abilities are nice as well. Rocket Barrage will probably end up dealing an insignificant amount of damage in the grand scheme of things, but it does fit in with the race’s flavor. Rocket Jump, on the other hand, could have myriad uses, particularly in PvP. A quick escape, an efficient way to close in on an enemy that’s trying to kite you — the list goes on and on. This could end up being the ability that players cry about the most, especially when goblin rogues figure out how to abuse it.
