The Air Jordan Retro 13 was released in 1997. The designer is still Mr. Tinker Hatfield, and the Air Jordan 13 was famous for its cushioning as well as breathability. In that year, MJ led his team to their sixth Championship title. The Air Jordan 13 was retroed in 2005, which coincided with the release of the Air Jordan 20. Hatfield kept his original designs. The inspiration for the Air Jordan 13 came from the black panther, and it featured a nice hologram on the ankle. The sole of the Air Jordan 13 looks like a panther's paw. Most of the previous Air Jordans were produced in Taiwan, China. However, the Air Jordan 12 took the step to China’s mainland, and so did the Air Jordan 13.
