"What is this 'Ikes'? Is it warm?" In front of a sales counter of a certain brand's thermal underwear, several customers asked the salesperson while holding up a piece of thermal underwear. The salesperson said: "It is a new type of material, adding it to thermal underwear makes its warmth retention even better."
During the interviews, it was discovered that these thermal underwear products labeled with new terms were all attributed by the salespeople as having magical warming effects, and their prices were also dozens to hundreds of yuan more expensive than ordinary cotton underwear. A set usually costs around 200 yuan, while the more expensive ones could cost seven to eight hundred yuan.
