Suzhou is an anomaly among Chinese cities. This not only refers to its extraordinary economic development speed in the past 20 years, but also includes a "miracle" in politics: for more than 20 years, none of the top leaders of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee, government, People's Congress, and Political Consultative Conference, as well as those of the subordinate counties, have had any corruption issues during their terms of office. The emergence of this "integrity special zone" has led people to generally attribute it to Suzhou's deep-rooted humanistic traditions, where the power of culture has shaped a peaceful and rational mindset among officials that is distinct from other regions. However, this perfect apple has now begun to show its first "wormhole."
