According to the regulations of the State Department, starting from June 1st, our country will ban the production, sale and use of ultra-thin plastic shopping bags, and implement a paid-use system for plastic shopping bags. Plastic shopping bags that are about to be sold have already appeared in major supermarkets.

CCTV reports that in some large supermarkets in Beijing, promotional signs for the "plastic limit order" can be seen everywhere. Some supermarkets have even taken photos of the plastic bags that will begin to be sold on June 1st and made them clear in-store notices. Zhang Qiang, Director of the Circulation Order Management Division of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, introduced that the thickness of plastic bags must not be less than 0.025 millimeters, and at the same time, they must have a price barcode and the contact number of the manufacturer printed on them, allowing for repeated use.

The settlement systems of major supermarkets are also currently increasing the sales codes for this "new product."

It is reported that in Guangzhou, Nanjing, Qingdao, Shenyang, Changchun and other places, some supermarkets have successively announced the prices of plastic shopping bags these days. Medium-sized plastic bags cost about one mao each, while large-sized plastic bags, which were previously used in larger quantities, cost about two mao each and can carry six kilograms of goods. Extra-large plastic bags cost about three mao each.
