Middle school girl was beaten up by more than 20 people at the school gate for refusing to go to a hotel room

On the afternoon of the 9th, at the side gate of a middle school in Haikou city, a girl student named Xiao Yu (a pseudonym) from the school was beaten by more than 20 students from other schools and idle social elements for as long as 30 minutes, causing multiple injuries all over her body. The reporter learned during the interview that Xiao Yu had been beaten by others on multiple occasions before, and the direct "trigger" was actually her refusal to check into a hotel room. Currently, the local police have intervened in the investigation.

On the morning of the 11th, Xiao Yu returned to the place where she was beaten and was still filled with fear. According to her account, after school on the afternoon of the 9th, she had just left the school gate when she was forcibly taken to the side gate of the school located on Lan Tian Road by a group of people. "They didn't say anything, they just started beating me," said Xiao Yu. Due to being terrified at the time, Xiao Yu could only let this group of people punch and kick her. Xiao Yu told the reporter that there were a few students from other schools in this group, and the rest were small-time hooligans from society. "They kept hitting my head and kicking me with their feet for at least 30 minutes," said Xiao Yu. She now experiences unbearable pain in her head, neck, right wrist, back, and both knees, with traces of blood still visible on her cheeks.

"Seeing my daughter beaten like this, I am heartbroken." Lifting her daughter's hair and sleeves and seeing the swollen wounds, Ms. Han, Xiao Yu's mother, couldn't help but shed tears. Ms. Han stated that on the night of the incident, she took her daughter to the People's Hospital of Hainan Province for treatment. After examination, it was found that her daughter had suffered multiple soft tissue injuries on her skin and scalp redness and swelling. Subsequently, a security guard from a nearby construction site also confirmed to the reporter that he saw Xiao Yu being beaten by multiple people that afternoon. A female middle school student refused to check into a hotel room and was beaten by more than 20 people at the school gate, resulting in multiple injuries.

Why did she suffer such a beating? Xiao Yu claimed that while the group was beating her, they cursed, "We'll see if you dare tell your mom about Liang Mou hitting you!" Based on this, she suspected that it was instructed by a classmate named Liang Mou.

According to Xiao Yu, one evening last semester, her "good friend" Liang Mou took her and another girl out to play. Unexpectedly, Liang Mou led them to a hotel. Upon entering the room, they discovered a man inside. At this point, Liang Mou suggested "checking into the room for the night," which made Xiao Yu feel panic-stricken. Despite Liang Mou's attempts to persuade her with various excuses, Xiao Yu insisted on leaving. "I never expected that after I left, Liang Mou would find her sister-in-law, Zhao Mou, to cause trouble for me," said Xiao Yu. Because of this incident, on September 22nd and 23rd of this year, Zhao Mou had come to her dormitory to beat her. Helpless, she informed her mother.

Ms. Han told the reporter that after her daughter was beaten the second time (on September 23rd), the parents of the other party (Zhao Mou) paid the medical expenses. Last month, Zhao Mou once again blocked her daughter Xiao Yu at the school gate, but Xiao Yu managed to escape in time and avoided being beaten. "I would never have thought that this time, my daughter would be surrounded and beaten by more than 20 people. I suspect that this is also because my daughter previously refused to check into a hotel room, offending them," said Ms. Han. Her daughter still needs intravenous fluids, and due to repeatedly experiencing such incidents, she is constantly living in fear and now dares not go to school.

The Haifu Police Station has already intervened in the investigation.

Subsequently, the reporter interviewed Zhao Mou over the phone regarding this matter. "I didn't ask anyone to beat her this time. If she doesn't believe me, the police can investigate this matter," said Zhao Mou. She admitted that she indeed had conflicts with Xiao Yu before, and there had been arguments and fights, but regarding the several times Xiao Yu was surrounded and beaten, Zhao Mou claimed that it had nothing to do with her.

Regarding this, Zhao Mou's homeroom teacher, Mr. Xie, told the reporter that he also believed this incident had no relation to the students in his class (Zhao Mou). The previous two conflicts between Zhao Mou and Xiao Yu had already been handled by the school. It might be because Zhao Mou was present on the 9th day, leading that girl (Xiao Yu) to assume it was her instruction. "That Zhao Mou girl reportedly has a bad reputation (there were instances of fighting before), but to be honest, she is quite good in class, usually present during class time, and very focused on studying," said Mr. Xie. He also suggested that Xiao Yu could personally identify those who beat her, and for specific details, the reporter should inquire with the school.

The reporter then went to the middle school for an interview. Upon learning the reporter's intention, a school security guard immediately said he would call the school principal. After hanging up the phone, he informed the reporter that due to it being the weekend, the school principal wasn't at work, and asked the reporter to come back next Monday for the interview. However, when the reporter requested the school principal's phone number, the security guard refused to provide it.

Currently, the Haifu Police Station has intervened in the investigation of this matter.
