Middle-aged man rapes 96-year-old woman, causing her death

A farmer surnamed Zhang from a village in a town of Zhuanghe City raped a 96-year-old woman at her home and caused her death. When reviewing the case, the Intermediate People's Court of Dalian City held that Zhang had committed serious crimes and should be sentenced to death. Considering that Zhang suffered from mild developmental delay and was a person with limited capacity for conduct, his sentence could not be carried out immediately. The Intermediate People's Court of the city recently sentenced Zhang to suspended death sentence in the first trial.
