Changsha’s online media service, Xingchen Online reported on January 4 that a warehouse in Youyi New Village of Gaiao caught fire yesterday morning. As its neighbors were warehouses and residential houses, the situation was very critical. After receiving the news, fire stations from Gaiao, Wulipai, Dongan, and Teqin rushed to the scene. However, as one road nearby was under reconstruction, it blocked the fire trucks and they could not enter the scene. They had no choice but to lay about 150 meters of fire hose. It was not until 2 pm that the big fire was put out. Two daily necessities warehouses and rooms in a residential house close to the warehouse were burned down.
