Building collapse due to corner-cutting, 6 dead and 3 injured

At around 10:20 AM yesterday morning, a collapse occurred at a private real estate construction site under construction in Xinyi urban area, and 9 construction workers who were tying rebars was buried. After the accident, Xinyi city quickly activated the emergency plan and organized more than 200 people to carry out rescue operations. By 5:30 PM, the buried people had all been dug out. Among them, 3 people were rescued and survived, and 6 people died after unsuccessful rescues.
