According to the CCTV reporter, Dalian Municipal Committee Publicity Department said that the fire happened in No.7 plant of China National Petroleum Corporation Dalian Petrochemicals, which is located in Ganjingzi District. It was an oil reservoir and there were 800 tons of diesel oil inside. The scene was full of thick smoke and the Dalian firemen had arrived at the scene.
