Li Changkui was sentenced to death for rape and intentional murder.

In the morning of August 22, Yunnan Provincial Higher People's Court held court in Zhaotong City of Yunnan Province. According to trial supervision procedure, the court retried Li Changkui intentional homicide and rape case and announced verdict in court. The original suspended death sentence in the second trial was revoked and Li Changkui was sentenced to death with political rights deprived for life.
