Wuxi Suntech has won the naming rights of China Youth Creative Competition for four consecutive years. Every year, it donates millions of yuan worth of solar panels to participating schools through the China Charities Federation. The value of last year's donations was more than 17 million yuan. Yesterday, whistleblower Luo Fanhua said that these donated items have been sold at a discount and the money made from the sales cannot be accounted for. Of the nearly 4000 solar panels indicated in the donation letter, only 200 were actually given as gifts to the participating schools.
