According to the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, the carrier rocket which will be responsible for the launch of Shenzhou-7 has now entered the research and development phase. The plan is to launch in 2008 according to schedule. It will still be the Long March 2F carrier rocket, which has already successfully sent six Shenzhou spaceships into outer space.
