National Day Evening Party in 2009: The evening party will start around 7:30 PM on October 1st, lasting for 100 minutes. The content of the National Day evening party has always been highly anticipated. The layout of the evening party will be divided into six levels: "Light Cube" performance, central celebration area, thousand-person choir, fireworks curtain, and two mass celebration areas. National Day Evening Party in 2009: Playing four major movements
The executive director of the National Day evening party, Jia Ding, introduced in an exclusive interview with reporters that the layout of the evening party would be divided into six levels: "Light Cube" performance, central celebration area, thousand-person choir, fireworks curtain, and two mass celebration areas, lasting for 100 minutes.
According to the current design plan, the National Day evening party will be divided into four major movements: "This is a Great Motherland", "It is the Place Where I Grew Up", "On This Vast Land", and "Everywhere is Filled with Bright Sunshine". After each movement, there will be a star singing a theme song. The theme songs of the four movements are sequentially "Love My China" sung by Wang Ying, Li Danyang, and Lü Wei; "Today is Your Birthday" sung by Tan Jing and Liang Changyong with Lang Lang accompanying; "Proud Constructors" sung by Zhang Mai, Guo Rong, and Wang Zhengzheng; and "Sunny Road" exclusively sung by Peng Liyuan. Jia Ding said that in each movement, there will also be fireworks displays, Light Cube performances, solo and choral singing, as well as mass celebrations.
The evening party will start with festive preludes around 7:30 PM. At about 8 PM, when the melodious sound of "The East is Red" comes from the Telegraph Building, the audience on the square begins to cheer, officially opening the curtain of the evening party. The party will continue until around 10 PM.

At 3:40 PM that day, Tan Jing and Liang Changyong arrived at the rehearsal training ground.
