"The most awesome" acceptance letter

"The Greatest Ever" acceptance letter might leave you numb to the phrase "the greatest ever," and you may label it as hype or a gimmick. However, when I saw the enrollment acceptance letter sent by Huangshan University to the freshmen of 2009, I still couldn't help but call it "the greatest ever" from the bottom of my heart, because such an acceptance letter heavily eroded by commercial interests and the school's actions are filled with doubts.

I remember when I received my university acceptance letter, there were only a few items in the envelope to help familiarize myself with the registration process: the Acceptance Letter, a national student loan explanation, a freshman admission notice, and a payment notification for new students. However, in the envelope of Huangshan University's 2009 freshman enrollment notice, there was an additional "Explanation of the Campus Network of Huangshan Branch of China Mobile." At first glance, attaching advertisements is not a novel thing and is not entirely unreasonable, after all, this is the era of an "advertising ecosystem" society. But when carefully examining the content, one realizes the severity of the "mobile company" advertisement being attached.

For now, let's set aside the discussion on how such a highly commercialized, subject-confused, and full of霸王条款(bullying clauses), fraud, and诱导(inducement) promotional flyer entered the freshman enrollment notice; let's also not talk about the legality of how China Mobile obtained the personal information of new students; nor whether the flyer was sent for free or otherwise. Let's take a closer look at some of the contents of the "Mobile Campus Network Explanation" flyer.
