2009-F1 Hungarian Grand Prix Ferrari Car Video
On July 25, Beijing time, the 2009 F1 Grand Prix season entered the qualifying session for the Hungarian Grand Prix. Spanish driver Fernando Alonso secured pole position with a final time of 1 minute 21.569 seconds, marking his first pole position since the 2006 Chinese Grand Prix after a span of two years. The Red Bull duo of Vettel and Webber took the 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. Hamilton, Rosberg, Kovalainen, Raikkonen, and Button followed in positions 4 through 8. Ferrari driver Massa suffered a head injury from track debris during the second phase of qualifying, was bloodied on the scene, and was sent to a hospital in Budapest for further treatment.
