As for what exactly happened on the afternoon of September 19 near the second bridge of the Tuo River in Suzhou, apart from Yang, there is now no one else who can verify it. When answering the questions of the investigators, Yang said this: "At around 5:40 PM, I drove to the Huicheng Bridge of Xuefeng Park in Suzhou to pick up Zhu. Zhu said 'you have to help me achieve my plan.' Zhu asked me to drive her to where they dated before (the second bridge of the Tuo River). I didn't want to go, then Zhu said 'I will take a taxi there.' There was no way out, so I drove her there. On the way, I tried to stop her, but she grabbed the steering wheel, the handbrake and other things to force me to the scene. When the car arrived at the south side of the bridge, Zhu said drive further. When the car drove to the middle of the bridge, Zhu asked to stop, then she got out of the car and squatted on the sidewalk by the bridge. I rolled down the window and said 'you'd better get in the car, it's raining.' Zhu did not get in the car, nor did she say anything."
