According to the notification of Hangzhou Health Bureau, an incident that a patient with type A H1N1 influenza died of unexpected accident in the ward toilet occurred in Tonghui Branch of the First People's Hospital of Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou on August 1st.
The female patient was 34 years old and was hospitalized for treatment on June 23rd due to type A H1N1 influenza. The patient had normal body temperature in one week, occasionally coughed, and other clinical symptoms disappeared and was in rehabilitation period.
At 7:35 a.m. on August 1st, the patient was found dead in the ward toilet. The public security and health departments are further investigating the specific cause of death.
