Continued attention to the follow-up reports on the collapse accident of the under-construction residential building in Shanghai. After the accident, the public generally questioned the qualifications and background of the developer of the housing complex. Yesterday, it was revealed that the second largest shareholder of Lotus Riverside Scenery Garden has the same name as a staff member of the Meilong Town Government of Minhang District, which drew more attention.
It is understood that currently, there are 24 natural person investment shareholders in the registered records of Shanghai Meidu Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., the developer of the housing complex. Apart from Zhang Zhiqin, who holds 64.37% of the shares as the controlling major shareholder, the second largest shareholder of Meidu Real Estate, Que Jingde, who contributed 2.7 million yuan, is particularly noteworthy. Que Jingde is not only the legal representative of Shanghai Xunhao Real Estate Co., Ltd., but also holds multiple current official positions on the Minhang District Government website. When the reporter went to the Meilong Town Government of Minhang District to verify the reliability of this news, the answer from its office staff was ambiguous. Relevant industrial and commercial data showed that Meidu Real Estate was established in 1995 and was jointly held by Shanghai Xinmi Real Estate and the Land Expropriation Affairs Office of the Meilong Town People's Government at that time. Que Jingde was the legal representative of the land expropriation office, concurrently serving as chairman and manager. After two reforms, Meidu Real Estate became a private enterprise, with Que Jingde being the second largest shareholder. A staff member of the Meilong Town Government said that Que Jingde had been an assistant to the town mayor for only one or two years. In response, the Minhang District Government expressed that it would immediately conduct a strict investigation into this clue.
