Shaoguan, June 26 (Xinhua News Agency reporter Feng Chang and Li Ling) -- A press conference was held in Shaoguan, Guangdong Province, on the evening of June 26 to report on a serious mass brawl that had occurred earlier that morning in the dormitory area of a large foreign-invested enterprise, Shaoguan Xuri Toy Factory. Lin Yaoming, the Deputy Secretary of the Shaoguan Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, stated that the brawl resulted in 120 people being injured, 16 of whom were severely wounded. Two of the severely injured individuals later died after unsuccessful hospital rescues.
