At around 10 a.m. on the 15th, a traffic accident occurred on the Chengyu Expressway in the Jianyang section. According to eyewitnesses, at least 30 vehicles were involved in a chain collision, with the crashed vehicles stretching for one kilometer. The most serious accident happened at the 66km + 500m mark on the road from Chengdu to Ziyang, where two large trucks skidded and hit the roadside guardrail due to slippery roads, causing three cars behind them to collide in a rear-end crash. "Large trucks and cars were scattered haphazardly, many of the vehicles were severely damaged, it felt like we had just experienced an earthquake."
