In recent days, southern areas of China have been frequently attacked by rains. At 6:00 pm on May 19th, the Central Meteorological Observatory issued an orange rainstorm warning: it was expected that from night of May 18th to daytime of May 19th, there would be storms in most parts of Guangxi, Guangdong, southern Hunan, southern Jiangxi, western Fujian and southeastern Yunnan. There would be heavy storms in some parts of central and northeastern Guangxi, northwestern Guangdong and southern Hunan; some of the aforementioned areas might also experience severe convective weather such as sudden thunderstorms and high winds.
On May 19th, currently, the heavy precipitation in China is still concentrated in江南 (Jiangnan) and华南 (Huanan). At 6:00 pm today, the Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue an orange rainstorm warning: it was expected that from tonight to tomorrow daytime, there would be storms in eastern Guangxi, most parts of Guangdong, southeastern Hunan, central-southern Jiangxi, western Fujian, northwestern Zhejiang, southern Suai (苏皖南部), etc.
