Deputy female mayor of Huzhou city, Ni Lingmei, committed suicide by jumping off the 29th floor of Xinghai Mingcheng

At 0:53 on May 2, 2009, the Huzhou Public Security Bureau 110 Command Center received an emergency call - someone had fallen from building 29 of the Xinghai Mingcheng complex. The police were immediately dispatched and it was confirmed at the scene that the person who had fallen was Vice-Mayor Ni Lingmei, who later died from her injuries.
